No resolution change

Have just installed Fedora and am delighted except that it will not let me change the screen resolution. I have tried System>Admistrator>Screen Resolutio but have only the one choice of 800 x 600 and this means I cannot see the lower part of many documents. Can anyone advise, please? Many thanks. Drawstop.

System > Administration > Display. Perhaps some tweaks to the X server config file via that tool will help.

What video card/monitor?

x Thanks for your help. System>Administration>Display only offers 800x600. PC details are :AMD Athlon 1.93g; Motherboard is Epox EP-8RDA with on-board graphics & sound. Although Fedora is in use (and for this message) it is annoying not to have a better desktop. Any help would be most appreciated. Regard and thanks. Drawstop. (W. Sussex).
