Question wlan0 - Iwlist returns nothing

Hi,

I am using ndiswrapper with windows driver on toshiba laptop.

lsusb, and dmesg shows the usb hardware and driver loaded. I can see the wlan0 ins network configuration gui.

Ifconfig and Iwconfig list wlan0 as one of the interface. However when I do iwlist wlan0 scan, nothing comes out. No wireless network is shown though I can see atleast 3 -4 in my XP PC.

The other desktop in my network with Freespire 1.0 identify my network and connects to Internet.

Help in setting up wireless network for laptop is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Win2Linux.
