FC6: installation process hangs on Dell E1505 laptop

I struggling to install Fedora on my Dell E1505 laptop. It's very surprising that installation disk doesn't give any errors on what's happening and simply hangs.

I have FC6 installation disk (disk passed disk test) and booting my Dell laptop with that disk.

It goes with initial steps and when it comes to where it should install, I selected first option to wipe out all existing and install. After confirmation step, it says do you want to "review the partition" and when I say NO or YES , in both cases my installation is stuck.

From here on nothing happens. What's wrong here? Can someone shed some light on how to debug this? It's frustrating that I tried many times and nothing happens.

I really appreciate any inform on this.

Thanks.

One more update from me: I tried installing from Free space and other options but always I am getting the following exception. I can't make out what's wrong here. Please advise:

Exception Occurred
Traceback (most recent call first):
File
"/usr/lib/anaconda/textw/timezone_text.py" line 33, in getTimezoneList
zt = zonetab.ZoneTab()
File
"/usr/lib/anaconda/textw/timezone_text.py"
line 61, in __call__
timezones = self.getTimezoneList()
File "/usr/anaconda/text.py", line 517, in run
rc = win(self.screen, instance)
File "/usr/bin/anaconda", line 957, in ?
anaconda.intf.run(anaconda)
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'ZoneTab'

--------------------
What's wrong here with anaconda and how do I fix it?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
