Modify input/output ports on sound card

My motherboard's onboard audio (VIA 8235) has only 3 audio ports. In Windows, there is a program by MSI to change the ports from input to output in order to get 5.1 surround. How do I change the two input ports to output ports in FC5?

It took forever for the page to load, but I managed to adjust my audio settings to get full surround sound support. I can't believe I've been running FC5 for nearly 3 months now and I never noticed all of the sound was coming from my R and L front speakers.
