Nexuiz kills X

I downloaded nexuiz on FC6 (I've previously had it on my system on FC5) but whenever I try and start it X force quits and then I have to log in again - I've not really come up against this before. I tried to look through logs to find when it happened so I might get more information with an eye to fixing it or at least putting together a good bug report... but there was nothing to be found, at least nothing that stood out

Have you ever had this happen specifically with this game or more generally with any program? and how come it allows it to do this and not just quit the game...

I'm not too sure what you mean; I just installed from the rpm through yum, I don't know why it would now need anything special if it never did in the past unless there is some sort of compatability issue... although I've not heard anyone else complain about it

in /usr/bin you will find nexuiz-dedicated,nexuiz-gfx and nexuiz-sdl the defualt is gfx so like i said try the sdl binary and a look at the Nexuiz forum might help
