FC6 Gnome Window List Notification Problem

I'm having a problem with Gnome's window list. When I switch from one desktop to another, any items in the list that are not Gnome applications begin to flash (like Kopete rdesktop, etc).

This is rather annoying since it makes it appear that I have new messages in all my open chats when in fact there has been no change. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The problem only started after upgrading to FC6, it didn't happen in FC5.

Thanks in advance!
