airsnort config on fc5

hello ppl,
im really stuck here, i just installed Airsnort (airsnort-0.2.7e-8.fc5.src.rpm). but when i run it i keep getting this msg: "You must place your card in monitor mode manually. Channel scan may not be available. "
maybe a pic will clarify...

my laptop is an HP Pavillion, and i already have the firmware for ipw2200 installed. and im using eth1 as my wirless card. so any help or suggestion??
