rpmbuild not installed

I downloaded indy 10 The download doesn't contain a rpm only a script for making it.
When I run the script I get an error rpmbuild command not found
So I tried to download rpmbuild en his dependencies (libcrypto, libneo, libssl, rpm). Now I'm running FC5 and I cant find any of the packages needed (only for FC4)
How can I install rpmbuild ??

open a terminal and type in
su -
then hit 'enter' key. now type in root password and hit 'enter' key again. Type in
yum -y install rpmbuild libcrypto libneo libssl
and once again hit 'enter' key. When it's done
updatedb
exit
exit
That should install rpmbuild and any dependencies
hth

The package that contains the rpmbuild command is called rpm-build.

Re: rpmbuild not installed

Can one just point, somehow, at the mounted DVD, say with yum, and
do a complete install of the entire rpm directory on the DVD to the running
Red Hat system to get the rpm-build installed and also avoid any other
gotchas?

Re: rpmbuild not installed

The problem will come with updated packages. If you've done no updates at all since installation, then yes, there's a way to do that. (CentOS, for example, has a pre-built Media repo, just for stuff on the install disks). If you've not done any updates, then you could create a repo
