My sendmail process hangs on boot up

Hi.

Working in FC2 with sendmail v8.12.11-4.6, the daemon hangs on
boot up.

My '/etc/hosts' file:
---------------
127.0.0.1 localhost pc02
192.168.2.102 pc02
----------------

My '/etc/sysconfig/network' file:
---------
NETWORKING=yes
HOSTNAME=pc02
---------

If I do:
# ping pc02
it resolves properly, so... what am I doing wrong?

Thank you very much.
