MacBook dual monitor

Hello,

I'm trying to get an external monitor to work with my macbook (fedora core 6).
So far it looks like only the i810 drivers are able to do that, the problem is, I can't get 915resolution to work properly in order to patch the correct video resolution using the i810 drivers.
Is this the reason why fedora on a macbook get installed with intel drivers by default?
Is there any way at all to get an external display to work?

Thanks,
Andrea

Ok, got the second monitor working,
just edited /etc/rc.d/rc.local and added:
/usr/sbin/915resolution 54 1280 800

Now the problem is, dri (3d acceleration) doesn't work anymore, it was fine with the intel drivers, it is not with the i810.

Any help?
