Attansic L1 kmod in an RPM reposiroty?

    Hi!

Is there anyone who knows about some ready to install RPM-s to handel the Attansic L1 GBit chip?
I've got it on my brand new Asus M2V motherboard and the kernel doesen't support it. I've found some references to it here and other places too, but no working RPMs. Threw a link from FedoraPL.org forums I found some RPMs, but those were for i686 and as I don't speak any polish, I couldn't really find out what that was about.

The link could still be usefull for some...:
    The topic: http://forum.fedorapl.org/thread/62
    The RPMs: http://gajownik.fedorapl.org/atl1/

I've got the question of networking covered finally with an extra D-Link GBit card, which I had in the original setup, but it would be nice to have the onboard card working... And I really wouldn't like to compile anything, as this is my no.2 file server and the / partition has really little free space.

Thank's for any info or help!

We're working to get the L1 driver added to the mainline kernel. We're not there yet, but we have gone through two rounds of comments on it from the kernel mailing list. Hopefully we'll have it in the -mm kernel tree before much longer. See http://www.hogchain.net/attansic for details, although since you don't want to compile anything it probably won't be of much help.
