Question problem with internet connection

Hello everyone,

I'm still newbie in Linux world, I installed FC5 but I've a problem .. It fails each time it trying to determine IP address information for eth0 .. I was configured by DHCP and after that I used the command "netconfig" to reconfigure the IP's manually, and restarted the network service but still no connection .. I don't know where's the problem .. sometimes I fount it connected successfully, but the most time is not .. How could I fix it ?
Thanks in advance

nv firewall is built in to nforce 4 and should be uninstalled in windows for network to work.

If you are using nv firewall (network manager) in windows , remove it (uninstall it in windows ) as it will effect linux, it is hardware based ( nv firewall is total crap )
