Tomcat5.5, apache2.2.3 and JK connector install on fedora 6

I just installed fedora core 6 and I am trying to configure the JK connector to connect apache with tomcat. The apache and tomcat servers that I am using are the ones that come default with the installation of fedora core 6. The connector version that I am using is JK-1.2.19. The connector compiled with no errors at all. When I try connect to a tomcat webapp via apache I get the "Internal Server Error" message from apache. Can anybody help me with this issue please???, do anyone know of a "guide" I can use to make this configuration work???

Like always, have a look at /var/log/httpd/error_log

This is what I get in the error_log file:

[Fri Nov 10 09:00:55 2006] [error] [client 192.168.X.X] File does not exist: /var/www/html/AppWeb

It seems like if apache is not sending the request to the mod_jk connector. This is what I have put in my httpd.conf regarding mod_jk:

LoadModule jk_module modules/mod_jk.so

JkWorkersFile /etc/httpd/conf/workers.properties
JkLogFile /var/log/mod_jk.log

JkAutoAlias /usr/share/tomcat5/webapps
JkMount /*.jsp ajp13
JkMount /*/servlet/ ajp13

And this is my workers.properties file:

worker.list=web01-worker
worker.web01-worker.type=ajp13
worker.web01-worker.host=localhost
worker.web01-worker.port=8009
