Ed, can you grab the grub boot parameters from Mandriva and simply add them to your /boot/grub/grub.conf? If you didn't copy them down ahead of time, I'm sure someone on their Forum can provide the info for you. Then, just configure it to the hard drive boot positions on your machine. If you add it to the bottom of your grub.conf, don't forget to hit 'enter' one more time to add an empty line at the bottom of the grub.conf before saving your info.
