I just bought WinTV PVR 150 tv card hoping that i can get mythtv to work on my machine, im running Fedora Core 6 right now, when WinTV PVR 150 card is inserted in my PCI slot, and after booting to linux i get no sound whatsoever, when i go to the sound detection utility it detects the sound card there, but when i click on test, nothing happens, no sound, then if i shutdown my machine and take the WinTV PVR 150 card out, and reboot back in, sound works just fine with no errors, is there any reason for that? could it be posible because i dont have the WinTV PVR 150 drivers installed and its conflicting with my sound card? any help is appreciated
