Exclamation For those who don't have a fast internet connection...

Hello Friends of Fedora!

Now, not everyone has a fast internet connection, even with a 56K modem, torrents and ftp connections will be very slow due to network traffic. So, there are three ways to get a FC6 DVD....One....Contact Thomas Chung through the Free Media program at fedoraproject.org, November is when you can request a FREE DVD......Two....If you can wait a week or two, go to this link : http://on-disk.com (low cost method)....And Three.....If you are willing to spend a little more money......go to this link : http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk If nothing else purchase a 3 pack DVD-/+R disc set from your nearest store/university store and ask a friend or relative or favorite teacher/professor who has DSL/Cable/T1/Internet 2 access to download a copy of FC6 for you and give them of your blank DVDs.... Smile and ask, "Will you please download Fedora Core 6 for me, I want to be a part of the Linux Revolution..." (Just a suggestion... )

I will have my own web site through marknetproductionsentrance.blogspot.com in the coming weeks, I will host a copy of FC6 for anyone to download through wget/ftp/torrent so we can keep the CORE alive for years to come...

(Note to the FC programmers, there should be an optional sidebar a la Vista with a metallic blue Analog Clock, Calendar, and Slide Show...)

Here's another suggestion. I always just purchase the new releases, as I never seem to get them burned correctly. I have always ordered them from the link below...the DVD is $1.99 plus .49 cents shipping and usually ship the same day you order. I saw they had the new FC6 available already this morning both on DVD and CD, so I've already placed my order. I should have the DVD by Thursday or Friday, from previous ordering experience. I've never gotten a bad disk from them.

Hello, everyone.

Just thought I'd let you know that we've got FC6 in the On-Disk catalog now too [1], but you're always welcome to request a download for the stuff you don't find listed.

And just remember that when you order FC6 you're also helping out with the Fedora Free media program by sponsoring discs [2].

So while we're not a bargain basement kind of place, we've shipped a bunch of Free Media discs and have given over $4000 to FOSS and Indy projects.[3]

It's already there, in Superkaramba. Has been there for quite a long time. That's where M$ stole the idea from!
