setting up ftp fc5

Hi all,

Based on what I can tell, ftp is set up on my machine, but I cannot access it. When I try to get to it via filezilla I get "connection failed." I have set up ssh so I don't believe it is a router problem as I have allowed for both port 21 and 22. I would assume I might have to do something with iptables and/or ftp to set up users?

Is the "generic" ftp that comes with fc5 fine for use? Is there a good tutorial out there where I can learn how to set up ftp?

Thank you for your time,
cranium
