Catch them when they're young...

This whole anti-pirating thing just cracks me up. The MPAA has even resorted to "brainwashing" children:

Of course, I'm not saying pirating is a good thing. I'm just saying that it looks like the MPAA is getting desperate. Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong and whatnot, but please don't turn this into a pirating flame war. I only posted this because I found it funny, and I though someone else might get a kick out of it, too.

Hi Cypher.

MPAA Desperate? You bet. Wouldn't you be if you had spent most of your goodwill with the nation and a huge chunk of your investment capital producing the kind of trash coming out of the industry these days? Especially when your bean counters tell you the American people just ain't buying it?!?

It's very telling that the biggest box office hits the last few years have been based on 1940-1970s comic books!

However, Merit badges are voluntary, and in my experience, Scouts are usually pretty savvy kids. They recognize a load of fertilizer when they smell it. Especially when it's flashed up on the silver screen and boomed out at them in surround sound. They're a tough bunch to "brainwash."

[FLAMING RANT] Insert flame-bait anti-pirating rhetoric here. [/FLAMING RANT]

First they ignore you.
Then they laugh at you.
Then they fight you. (you are here)
Then you win.
