Fedora uses the RPM file format for updates. The normal way to update is the command ' yum update ' at the root logon.
But you need a network connection (ie.. dsl/cable modem) via ethernet. if no network connection is avalable (ie.. transfer via cdrom). You can download the RPM files and install them with the command ' rpm -uvhf rpmfilename '.
