Cannot update FC2

I just installed FC2 and Up2date reports numerous updates are available. I was able to start the program once but it failed during the update process. After rebooting, I cannot lauch up2date from the notification icon at all.

I also tried to update with Yum, but most packages are giving me an error message when it tries to update the package.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Bob

Either the ftp/http don't work for the new version (make sure to set the yum mirrors url to the right version), either the internet access is not working anymore.
