Conexant HSF Modem

I'm using a Conexant HSF Modem with FC5. I installed the linuxant drivers, and the modem almost works, except for one problem. The modem will dial up, but then it hangs up and redials! Also, the dialup sequence sounds different than it did in windows. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Thanks,
Fuzzypig
