Software RAID1 for beginners

As I am given a 45G IBM hard disk from my friend, I want to add this disk to my computer to set up RAID 1 for data fault tolerance. But the capacity of the two disks is different, mine is WD 60G. How can I build a software RAID 1 under this configuration? Do you guys kindly recommend some tutorials/HOWTOs on RAID for Linux, better for Fedora Core?

Thanks.

Leo

I believe you can set up comparable size partitions to 'raid' across.
