Samba how to download

How dose one load or down load samba through add/remove software under FTP server or as samba, the download area is confusing, is samba FTP server or some other name.

And is there a site where it gives a line by line install, all the ones I have seen are suggestions, you don`t know what lines of programming to add.

When installing through GUI or terminal.

Thanks Neptune
