Failed: No route to host

Hi,

i've fedora 5 installed and i try to access the internet through the console but i get an error message that says "Failed: No route to host" i try to access several sites through the Mozilla some are entered and some are not. why what is the problem with the host?

weird.
Have you a proxy in your local net?

As root, try this 2 commands

/sbin/ifconfig
/sbin/route

and put the output here.

i've change the dns from the router ip the my isp dns and it's seems to work good.

another question how can i connect to the fedora 5 from a remote machine like Win XP through the ssh where can i download ssh to install on the XP to connect my fedora 5 and how can i make fedora 5 accept connection through telnet ?

there is an utility named putty that runs ssh from windows. Find it using google.
