light deskpots?

hello, I just want to know the most light deskpot, I started using kde-gnome but get bored about loading 2-3 seconds for each aplication (i have a 4 years old computer), now I am trying xfce4, it's good but I find some things I don't like so I will wait to 4.4, I just want to know more light deskpot and opinions about them.
