Visio equivalent

For lack of knowing where else to post this.... Does anyone know of a good Visio equivalent for making network diagrams on Linux? I found Gliffy, but I would rather have a desktop app than a web based app as a web based app doesn't work in places where I don't have connectivity. I am using FC5 with Gnome.

I use visio at work. I have tried Dia many times over the past several
years. I think it is just not there. Fig is another drawing program. It
does not work like Visio, but it works. Just my 2cents. Let us know if
you like Dia.
