Quota issue recompile to support ext3 quota

Hi,

I have A VPS running Fedora Core 5 using Xen, kernel 2.6.12.6-xenU.

I am trying to install CubePanel, a hosting control panel, but was unable to due to this error:

Activating quotas...
It has not been possible to activate quotas. Check that install file system is in /etc/fstab file.

So I put in the fstab file as directed by support at Cubepanel.com

/dev/sda1 / ext3 defaults,usrquota,grpquota 1 1

This still did not work ??? So I gave complete control to the CubePanel tecnical support ie root priviledges and he has come back with this.

The server's version is not the normal for FC5, it has been modified to support Xen (2.6.12.6-xenU) and does not support quotas:

quotaon: Warning: No quota format detected in the kernel.
user quota on / (/dev/sda1) is off

You would need to recompile the kernel to support ext3 quotas.

So where on earth do I start ??? Im sure one of you fine people might have an idea.

Regards

Stuart
