howto make thunderbird access yahoo mail box ?

I have tried this method: goto,

downloaded the 'Web-Mail-1.0.11' -- http://downloads.mozdev.org/webmail/...l-1-0-11-2.xpi
and
'Yahoo-1.1.1' -- http://downloads.mozdev.org/webmail/yahoo-1-1-1.xpi


account : yourname@yahoo.com
pop server : pop.mail.yahoo.com port : 1024 (default 110)
smtp server : smtp.mail.yahoo.com (default port)

but, after this setting, the thunderbird trying connect the yahoo mail server and got no responds forever !

I have done this seccussed in windows xp !

Can anyone help me to fix this ?

Try your entries again without the pop or smtp The entries assume the pop or smtp by virtue of entering them in those fill in blanks. Actually typing it in should not be necessary, and may be the cause of your error.
