Specifically, does anyone know how well this Laptop runs under FC5?

I've got an Acer Aspire 5102WLMi, whats you problem? Can't you boot? I couldn't boot first.

Hi patrox.

No problem yet. I am considering buying one of the above, and am seeking more information before purchasing. Thanks for the link! I had forgotten about those pages. It shows the 5002 model works under FC4, so FC5 should be ok too.

I've already gleaned that I may have to start with acpi=off in order to get the install done, but if that's the worst thing I face, this is going to be easy!
