I'm new on fedora core 5 and can't get my ac97 driver running.
i try to compile the alsa driver but it gives an error.

i'm trying to do this because when i specify a defauld sound card it gives an error
the mixer can't find the device.
while i see 3 audio devices from which one is the good one. it wont stay as standard device
