Free usenet news server?

Does anyone know of a reliable *free* usenet server? Right now I'm using aioe.org but there hasn't been any traffic in any of my subscribed groups for nearly 2 weeks and those groups are usually quite busy. Posting is a must, even limited posting. I used to use the German university server: news.individual.net but I had problems with my credit card company so I cancelled the card and I refuse to pay $50 to my bank to transfer 10 euros (whatever that is in real money)

Never seen a good "free" newsserver...plenty of sites you pay for are just as bad....why doesn't your ISP have a newsserver?

Very few (actually, maybe only 1 or 2) Japanese ISPs carry Usenet. My previous provider (Was IBM.Net, then it changed to AT&T WorldNet, then it changed to Jens SpinNet) dropped their news server last year. No choice but to use third-party.
