Keyboard just randomly stopped working

For some reason my keyboard has stopped working in Fedora. The only things I did were that I updated my system and played True Combat: Elite (mod for Enemy Territory). After exiting out of TC:E, my keyboard didn't work. I couldn't type in Gaim or Konsole. Unfortunally I do not know what I updated. Anyone else having any problems like this or know how to fix it? Help is appreciated.

Edit: My keyboard works in Ubuntu and Windows 2000

I am able to log into root in runlevel 3 and I can log into root at the login screen by placing my username as "root" and entering my password. I'm able to type while root, so the problem must be somewhere in my normal account.

You can see the time ordered list of updates by listing out the contents of
file:

/var/log/yum.log

Hello:
Well it appears that you can operate your keyboard when logged in as root?
I would suggest checking your Regional and Accessibility settings? You are using KDE ? You may have accidently enabled some Accessibility options that you really don't want, which would cause the behaviour you are experiencing.
Sorry, not that familiar with KDE, however in Gnome it's under /System/Preferences/Keyboard/Accessibility.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I looked around the KDE Control Panel and did not find anything that would deny me from using the keyboard.
