rsh not allowing logon FC5 and FC4

Trying to enable rsh root logon from multiple host and I am getting host unknown error. Where is the .rhost file i need to modify? i just installed rsh server on both servers and edited rsh and rlogin from disable =yes to no. Now i need to add the trusted host. Could I add them using an entire subnet instead of single hosts?

I also know that rsh is unsecure

Thanks in advanced!
