I am looking for a schema based, validating XML editor. It can run on java, but I prefer native. Either way it must be open source.
I have googled for awhile, but most everything is proprietary, shareware, broken, abandoned, or unsuitable for end users.
For example, I want to be able to pop up the XML editor against a XML configuration file, and have the users (non-programmers) navigate a treeview to get to a variety of settings, and let the validation schema insure they cannot enter invalid data, restrain the input to legal values, support drop-downs of legal values, as properly defined in the schema, etc.
There are so many partial projects showing up in google...am hoping I can cut through all of that and hear from someone who has already worked through this and has experience with a robust, high quality, validating XML editor for Fedora.
TIA,
