Fedora Core 5 vs. Firefox 1.5.0.4 vs. Adobe Flash Player

Hi there,

quite recently, I have installed Core V which is just awesome.

This only issue I have, is that Flash won`t run on this installation.

System:
FC 5 patched on a daily basis
Firefox 1.5.0.4

Tried to download Flash and to set it up via script included => failed
Tried to install 2 files manually (what the script does..) =>
failed
Searched the web
=> failed

...would be glad if someone could help me out!

BTW - before I upgraded, I installed the Firefox version mentioned on
FC 3 and that worked just perfectly - very strange.

TY in advance for your friendly support.

Cheers,
Marc

Are you using x86_64 FC5 version?
If so it's normal that you can not install flash, because macromedia havent develped flash for x86_64 applications.

If you are using 32 bit version, everything should work fine.
