Switching Workspaces Disabled?

Hi all,

I'm using FC5 and KDE, and I'm trying to switch workspaces. I'm using the normal method Ctrl + ALT + Arrow (left or right) but it doesn't respond. I can manually switch to a new workspace, but for those who have ever used it, know that once you do it via keyboard it's hard to live without. I looked into the settings and could find nothing related to enabling/disabling that option... Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!!!

umm.... i have been using that key combination with the compwiz window manager and glx, you are right, without it using workspaces is really painfull..

maybe someone else knows how to enable the key combinations as i would like to use it on my non-glx enabled boxes..
