Are Fedora and RHEL file trees different?

I'm thinking about using Fedora to be able to use RHEL servers, but I'd like to know if there are differences, especially file trees. I found out on my RHEL server that there is not the 'yum' tool that Fedora offers. Are there other differences that I should be aware of?
Thanks,

There are some minor difference, I understand, between the two. As you
stated, Fedora uses yum, where RHEL uses up2date. However, for
compatibility's shake, the two are very similar. Fedora tends to have
newer packages, for example.

The Fedora Tree is where Redhat gets what will become RHEL.

I think

FC 3 ~> RHEL 4
FC 2 ~> RHEL 3
FC 1 ~> RH 10 /RHEL 2

The RH engineers go t
1. Go through the code/packages and remove that which is not stable (if neccesary getting an older package which is).
2. Do more compatibility testing to find any problems with the system and repeat step 1 as neccesary.
3. Other tweaks and then release it as RHEL.
4. Provide support for 7 years. (Whereas Fedora stops support much sooner).

EDIT: 5. Do a lot more testing than Fedora

RH also provides most of the funding, coding, resources, etc, for Fedora. So Redhat gives back to Fedora as much as it takes.

Of course someone from RH can probably clear up an errors I've made
