Installation Problems..Close other thread

I installing FC5 or tryed to, to my external hard drive, but when I tried to boot I got

A invalid System Disk Error.

I can boot my internel hard drive, but I dont want to install FC5 on it.

What should I do?

This is getting weirder by the min.

I just booted the rescue cd, and guess what NO /boot directory!! None. Zip.

I will try yet another install to see...

I just was in linux expert, I found out how to see /boot by doing chroot mnt/syslinux but..

THERE IS NOTHING THERE!

I tried googling for some information..but I got nothing...I tried going to the boot partiton, hitting edit and ticking the box "Force to be Primary"

Nope. Doesnt work.

I shall try 1 more time..
