I am a newbie to Linux and I want to try out Fedora as a dual boot option with XP Pro SP2. I have 2 HDD's and I'm installing Fedora on the second disk, or rather, I'm trying to. I have set up a Linux ext3 partition on the second disk with about 17GB of space and then running the bootable DVD, everthing runs okay until I start selecting installation options, i.e. Office and Productivity, Develeopment, Web Server options, first off I selected them all as I wanted to have as much installed as possible so I can see whether I actually like Linux or not.....but the installer told me I needed 2556MB of disk space and it wasn't possible to continue and I could go back to reselect or reboot the PC and find more space.....even when I deselected everything, it still says I haven't enough space!!!! The Fedora site says the complete installation, absolutely everything is about 7GB and I have 17GB to play with......this is driving me mad.
Does anyone know what the problem may be and can you help me please.
Thanks in anticipation
