Hey everyone,
I have an atheros mini pci card in my laptop(upgraded from intel 2100). Well it was working fine under Linux for two weeks but the signal strength was low compared to windows. Now two days ago it started disconnecting and giving me troubles, now it just won't work right in Linux. It connects BUT it will not let me go to any websites. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the modules (from livna and also tried atrpms) and it still won't do anything for me. I don't have any idea of what could be wrong. I am using the latest kernel 2.17.1 2157 i think. I get an ip address but can not ping anything either.
One thing I notice was something about the driver being compiled for version 20 and I was only running version 19 when doing iwconfig, and I tried to yum update, but no luck there.
Any ideas?
