Bcm43XX Question

Has anyone sucessfully installed the bcm43xx driver without extracting the firmware. I am not dual booting with OSX just running FC5.

Not me, all howtos say you need extract the firmware. Why do you need install without excract?

I thought you needed to extract the firmware in a OS X directory?

Nope, if you want help om ho to install wireless using bcm43xx go to:

This worked fine to me. Follow instructions. I am using a Mac too and the driver in my OS X partition doesn't work, but you can download another driver, remember: follow instructions in the URL above
