Intel i845G video, Xorg only works at 640x480?

Hi All,

I'm hoping someone else has an Intel on-board video Chipset 845G that's working in Fedora Core 5. Any suggestions or ideas are very much appreciated!

Here are some targeted notes about what's going on:

Change /etc/X11/xorg.conf to
HorizSync 30-70
VertRefresh 50-160

No help!

Viewport 0 0
But when I mouse around the viewport, after a few seconds I get flicker, roll.
Then black screen. Ctrl-alt-bksp no help. console init 3, init 5 no help. Reboot!

I checked that the CMOS would allow me to turn off the Integrated video
and discovered it was not set to Integrated, it was set to PCI. Also, I
changed the memory to maximum. It's working fine now.
