MP-BIOS bug: 8254 Timer not connected to IO-APIC

As you can read in topic-start. This is the error I seem to get when booting my FC5: MP-BIOS bug: 8254 Timer not connected to IO-APIC. I've installed FC5 on my Acer 4005WLMi with no problems and till now, I don't seem to run into any errors or random freezes. But what those this error mean? Or better how can I fix it?

Many thanks in advance.

Same problem on Everex StepNote NM3900W. The system boots fine, though slow at spots if I have WiFi enabled... I'll be checking this thread for a solution, if there is any.

My Everex seems to be flawless. An install of torsmo is nice with some execi scripts installed for eth0, ath0, CPU Temp, etc. I'm having a bit of a struggle getting used to the 1280x800 display as I'm used to 1280x1024...
