wine, wine-core, wine-tools

A few days ago yum updated wine, perhaps removing it, and replacing it with wine-core. After that, I was also missing wine-tools, meaning a number of things have quit working. Now, wine-tools will not re-install, because a dependency is wine, and I don't think I can have both wine and wine-core. What's the deal with this?
TIA

I just installed wine, and it installed "wine" along with deps such as "wine-tools and wine-core" with some others. Wine-core was about 10mb. It is working fine for me. before I installed it, I uninstalled my old version, see if that helps

Oh, really? You are saying that wine and wine-core can co-exist happily?

I guess so At least on my system. 'wine-core' was a dependency of 'wine' when I had yum install it
