SGI(clariion) Raid hardware & Fedora

I work for a university where we received as a donation 6 SGI Raid Cabinets. The controllers are produced by Clarion. The system runs over a fiber channel.

What I'm really looking for at this point, A) does Fedora support SANS, and more spiffily, does it work with SGI Clarion based controls. B) What does it really take to make this all work, i.e. what specific software would I need (no software was included with the donation). C) What (in general) would be the steps I need to take to make this system come to life?

All and all I was given about 10TB of storage space, and would really like to be able to use this, I'll admit, my linux/unix abilities are a bit rusty, and SANs in general are a bit of a stench for my hardware capabilities.

If by chance Fedora does not support all this kind of a setup, any suggestions for other paths I should look at, would be great as well. At this point I’m just trying to get a feel for “how possible” this is.

Any help would be great!

Thanks
Larry
