Detection of wireless card

OK. I am running fc5 2.6.17

I have :
1. installed acx111 drivers for my card
2. installed ndiswrapper and installed my default drivers for windows

problem : i go to network and try to set up a wireless network connection, however, it does not detect my card. I then go to the list after hitting "other card" and my card is not there. I have a Trendnet TEW-423pi. I am a little new to linux and basically, here is the proposed solution

1. I would love to be able to detect the hardware so that i can configure it.

If anybody has any solution that can get me up and running, that would be great. Thanx.

When ndiswrapper is properly installed -- driver + firmware + ndiswrapper + modprobe -i ndiswrapper -- you will see an entry wlan0 (not your card) in the network configuration dialogue. Use this entry -- wlan0 -- to configure your card. I suggest you remove and reinstall ndiswrapper. Follow the installation instruction very carefully. When properly installed ndiswrapper does work. The supported adapters list at ndiswrapper includes your card.
