Toshiba Satellite A-105

I'm entirely new to linux and I just installed FC5 and I need to get my wireless working so I need to install the subsystem. I've yet to make it past installing it though. I think I'm missing something in the kernal. header files, maybe? I dont know.

[root@localhost ieee80211-1.1.11]# make
Checking in /lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 for ieee80211 components...
egrep: /lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5/build//.config: No such file or directory
egrep: /lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5/build//include/linux/autoconf.h: No such file or directory
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5/build M=/home/benpottier/ieee80211-1.1.11 MODVERDIR=/home/benpottier/ieee80211-1.1.11 modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
make: *** [modules] Error 2

Can anyone help? And let me know if I didn't give enough information. Thanks.

Unfortunately installing the drivers, etc. for the intel 3945abg is a little bit more involved and I don't have any experience with these drivers.

Checkout the following links, hopefully they'll help!

Users experience installing drivers

The actual driver site

I wish I could be of more help. Good Luck!

If im not mistaken it looks like you need to install the kernel source. In FC5 they come in a source RPM which you have to install, then build the source tree. Its somewhat difficult. Perhaps someone has a precompiled driver for you to use?
