loading kernel modules

Hi there,

im trying to install madwifi-ng. ive done so from source since i wanted a current version.
now ive ran make and make intall withotu errors but when i try to load the module with

modprobe ath_pci

it says that it cant find the module...

FATAL: Module ath_pci not found.

i found the modules and tried copying them around but to no avail. anyone has any idea where these should go.i was also wondering, is there any way to install madwifi-ng via yum or the sort?

If your module is built you can add it with insmod.

insmod [filename] [module options]

I dont know that module does but it can be loaded from your ( /etc/rc.d/rc.local ) file if other modules are not dependant on it.

or take a look at ( /lib/modules/kernel-version/ ) and add it.
