ATI problem, please please help.

Hi, I installed the ATI drivers with this : su --login -c 'yum install xorg-x11-drv-fglrx kmod-fglrx glx-utils'
But I had problems with dual head. I found a thread that told me installing this
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...8.0-1.i386.rpm
Would solve my problem with dual head. When I installed that. The x-server
wouldn't start. It reconfigured, and then started. I was then able to use dual
head. But now I am having troubles with various other things. I want to go back
to using the original drivers installed with yum install xorg-x11-drv-fglrx kmod-fglrx glx-utils.
To do that I think I need to uninstall both. my question is, how do I uninstall
both, and then just use yum install xorg-x11-drv-fglrx kmod-fglrx glx-utils.

So after looking at the error it gives when I try to boot the driver fglrx I was working with someone on the IRC channel, and he said it was because the modules said Compiled for 7.1.0. After looking it turned out I only needed to downgrade the server. So I did rpm -e --nodeps xorg-x11-server-Xorg xorg-x11-drv-ati. After that I did yum install --disablerepo=development xorg-x11-server-Xorg xorg-x11-drv-ati. Then I enabled fglrx. After that I restarted the X server, and got a blank screen, so I changed the boot command line to run level 3. After that I did system-config-display --reconfig. Then I was able to boot into X. However the fglrx is still not working. It says direct rendering: No, OpenGL renderer string. So then I triedand also, when I do rpm -q kmod-fglrx i tsays kmod-fglrx-8.25.18-1.2.6.16_1.2122_FC5
kmod-fglrx-8.25.18-2.2.6.17_1.2139_FC5 btw. So then I tried to uninstall and reinstall the package. Then didn't work, I just got the blank screen again, and had to change the boot sequence and do system display reconfig again. So, anyideas?
