Can get no incoming mail

On 2006-06-22 I started installing Fedora Core 5.
There is a problem with the incoming mail.
I can't select "POP3", only "POP", for incoming e-mail.
I do can send mail with "SMTP", for outgoing e-mail.

Does anybody have a solution ? Your replies are redirected to my Windows-box.
